Ans: Visiting season is from 15th Nov to 15th June. Best season for sighting is Dec - March.

7- How is the weather at Dudhwa National Park?

Ans: Weather is almost the same as in the foot hills of the Himalayas. During summer, temperature varies from 27ͦ C to 45 ͦ C and during winters, temperature varies from 6 ͦ C to 26 ͦ C. Rains are frequent during Monsoons, with the annual rain fall being in the range of 150 cm.

Ans: No. There are separate tickets for Dudhwa National Park and Kishanpur Sanctuary. Tickets once sold are valid for three days only.

Ans: Tickets once sold, cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.

12- How many vehicles are allowed in Dudhwa National Park?

Ans: Private vehicles are not allowed in DUDHWA NATIONAL PARK. Reserve vehicles, stationed there are only allowed and can be had after payment of prescribed tariff.

Ans: A request application along with demand draft, in favour of Deputy Director, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve has to be given for accommodation booking.

Ans: Canteen facility is available only at Dudhwa tourism range campus.

25- How to make the cancellation of booked tickets?

Ans: Tickets once booked, cannot be cancelled.

Ans:1- Moving on foot is not allowed.

2- Camping /staying in hides and Machans are allowed only on notified places.

3- Night park/cycling/ are not allowed;

4- There is no Nature trail inside the park

29- What are mandatory documents that I need to carry during the Park Visits?

Ans: 1- For Indian nationals - A photo ID
2- For Foreign nationals - Passport.

30- What are activities that can be taken up in the DUDHWA NATIONAL PARK?

Ans: Climbing over the Machans, Photography, Videography and use of Binoculars are allowed only in three tourism zones.

32- What are precautions I need to take for my safety while in the Park?

Ans:Do's and don’ts are displayed at many places in the Tigre Reserve. Fire arms of any kind are not permitted. Pets are not allowed. Walking and trekking is strictly prohibited. Entry is permitted only during day-time. Littering of garbage is not allowed. Smoking in the forest area is strictly prohibited. Playing Transistors or tape recorders is not permitted. The blowing of horns and driving above the speed limit is prohibited. Teasing / irritating animals is strictly prohibited Entry without valid permit is not allowed.

33- I have purchased the ticket for the park. Does it enable me to have guaranteed sighting of the tiger?

Ans: Sighting is by Chance. Sighting is not guaranteed.

34- Where is Rhino rehabilitation area?

Ans: Rhino rehabilitation area is 10 km away , in the grassland expanses of Kakraha And Chota Palia forest Blocks.

35- Can we go in Rhino rehabilitation area?

Ans: Yes, you can roam around in Rhino rehabilitation area on elephant back.

36- What is fee for elephant ride?

Ans: Rs 150.0 per person
